Before the M: Leica's Screw-Mount Rangefinder Cameras
The M-mount was not Leica's first rangefinder system. Before the introduction of the M3 in 1954, Leica produced a long and distinguished line of screw-mount (Leica Thread Mount, or LTM) rangefinder cameras dating back to the original Leica I of 1925.
